Our Approach
- We test before we recommend. When we review a product, someone on our team has actually used it.
- We explain the “why.” A tip is only useful if you understand what it’s actually doing.
- We stay independent. Our opinions aren’t for sale, and we say so clearly whenever a post involves an affiliate link or sponsorship.
- We write for humans, not search engines. If a sentence doesn’t help you, it doesn’t make the final draft.
Our Story
ScookieTechie began as a small side project — a place to write up the tools and tricks we kept explaining to friends and family. It grew into a full publication because it turns out a lot of people were looking for the same kind of plain-English tech advice. We’re still small, still independent, and still answering reader questions every week.
